Hanging With The Turners (HWTT) was launched in 2016 as a way to chronicle our family interactions, provide advice and suggestions as well as share ideas about family. Our hope is to inspire and motivate families through our activities and experience.

HWTT is all about family, sports and lifestyle. We provide thoughtful insight on our events through blog posts, original photography and social media. Happy hanging!

Neighborhood Watch

Neighborhood Watch

Yesterday I hopped on the bike and rode for 20 miles on the trail and around the neighborhood. It's always nice to ride around the neighborhood because you get a chance to catch up with your neighbors to see how things are going. We all have jobs, families and other responsibilities so we don't get to catch up that often. It extended my time on the bike, but I didn't mind.

Speaking of neighborhoods, Nationals Park is quickly becoming our second home as the Turners spent another evening watching the Nationals. Well, not all of the Turners because my youngest son wasn't feeling well and my wife stayed home with him. My oldest and I had two extra tickets so I asked one of my neighbors if he and his son wanted to join us and they said yes. We had an awesome time and the Nationals; specifically Daniel Murphy, treated us to an outstanding game. It's always entertaining watching the Nationals at the ballpark, but winning makes it that much sweeter.
