“You have to decide, whether you are a wolf or a sheep!” That’s what Alonzo told Jake in Training Day. Well last night, I was doing the True Strength Fundamental workout with my wife and within the first five minutes, I decided I was going to be a sheep. That workout kicked my ass and there was no way I could keep up with her. She was awesome!
I figured the only way for me to get back to being a wolf is doing what I do best and that’s to get on my indoor bike and start preparing for our bike ride. At the end of last summer, my wife and I completed a 47 mile bike ride and we had a great time. So this year we came up with this brilliant idea to complete the TD Five Boro Bike Tour on May 7th. It’s going be a 40 mile bike ride with more than 32,000 cyclist that will take us through all 5 boroughs in New York City. We have less than two months to get ready, but I just put 20 miles on my stationary chariot so I’d say I’m pretty close to being in midseason form already. Alonzo also said, “It takes a wolf to catch a wolf.” Well, get ready wolves because we’re coming to get you on the 7th.
