We made the 14 hour drive to Mississippi State to experience some southern football hospitality. Not only did we get to see a great football game, we were able to see a Bully, the Dog Walk, and a whole lot of maroon and white.
My boys may not realize it now, but eventually they will view the barbershop as a place of self expression. A place where they can be themselves. For me it is one of the only places I get to hangout with my sons and spending time with them is of great importance to me. When they get older, we will sit at the bar and have a couple beers, but for now the boys and I will enjoy our routine visits to the barbershop.
The last time the Turners went to Myrtle Beach was in 2011 and we had so much fun. Our boys didn't remember the last time we were there, but this time they were able to create their own memories.
Last year our oldest son was a Twizzler and this year he is a Jolly Rancher. Our youngest son was a Hershey and now he is a Twizzler which means one thing; they are both tall enough to conquer the rides at Hershey Park without a mom and dad.
It was refreshing to see a Marvel movie in which the heroes were trying to save their families and relationships opposed to trying to save the world from the brink of extinction. Plus my youngest son has been looking for Ant-Man since Avengers: Infinity War.
We love having a pool. It makes for great family fun during the hot summer months, but knowing someone who owns a pool might just be better than owning one yourself.
